Camp Create Bonfire - make a scene

Hi all,
Today I'm sharing with you a scene I've made today.
I've had this set a while. I bought it because it reminds me of my daughter who loves to get dirty and climb trees.
This is the first time I've used the Molotov masking fluid.
I will use it again now I know the best way to use it.
Here's my card

I used distress inks for the sky and grass and copics for the rest.
It took a long time to do, but I will do it again.
My friends are requesting I do a video but I'm still unsure about that at the moment.

This means I have earnt the bonfire badge from MFTs Camp Create.

I hope you like the card.

10 card challenge

Afternoon,

This morning my friend challenged me to make 10 cards using a limited amount of supples.
I chose to do a birthday theme and she chose Christmas.

I used Die Cuts With a View papers (10 sheets 8x8) and MFT Blueprint 18.
I also used Happy Birthday die from Clearly Besotted, happy birthday sentiment from darkroom door and another happy birthday sentiment from CC designs by Amy R.
I did use silver embossing powder, Lawn Fawn dye ink and sequins/gems.

Here are the papers and die set I used

The papers are glittery so were fun to use.
I cut the elements of the dies out using all of the papers which meant I just then needed to assemble and add sentiments.

Here are my 10 cards :

This is what I had left

It does mean I can make some more cards out of what remains.
I really enjoyed this challenge.
It's surprising what ideas you can come up with.
I made these in 2 and half hours. Not a bad mornings work.

I hope this inspires you to have a go at this type of challenge.
My friend used a stamp set and matting dies rather than the blueprint dies and just sentiment stamps like me.

I will be doing this again at some point.
I think I will use another Blueprint set.

Camp Create Stunning Shadow Stamping

Well today's technique was lots of fun.

Shadow stamping is something I hadn't tried before,
I will be using this technique with some other stamps I have too.
(I do now need to purchase the stamp set used in the video lol)

My card could also be used for Monochromatic but it wasn't intentional when I started making the card lol.

I don't have a lot of the solid images by MFT so this was tricky to start with (I need to purchase some) .
I then remembered I had the banners and I knew I could use this technique.

So here is my card

I used the banner stamps and Blueprints 26

Here's the badge

I have achieved all of the badges.
I do have the bonfire badge to earn but I'll make that card tomorrow.

Hope you've enjoyed these posts.

Camp Create 4 Divine Dry Embossing

Hi all,

Divine Dry Embossing is a fun technique.

I knew that I wanted to use my stitch dies to make a border.
However I didn't have an embossing mat to use (I have since ordered one lol).

My embossing didn't come out exactly how I planned but I do have a border around the image. It's a bit tricky to see in the picture though.
I do know that I will re do this card once my sizzix embossing mat arrives,
which I will add to this post.

So here's my card

I used the Speech Bubble dies, Double Stitched Rectangles and Hog Heaven

Today's badge

This is a fun technique and I'm going to be stalking the postie until my mat arrives hehe.

Camp Create 3 Remarkable resist

Hi all,
Remarkable Resist is a fabulous technique it makes you see your stash in a new way.
I immediately knew that I wanted to use the cloud cover plate.
So I decided to cut it so I would have a stencil I could use again.
I inked through with versamark and then embossed it with clear embossing powder by WOW.

I then used my distress inks for the sky. This meant the clouds stayed white.
I then finished it off with the London skyline die and the hi sentiment from the hello die set.

Here's my card

Here's the badge for today

Hope you liked the card for today.

MFT Dienamics Cover plate Dies

Hello All,

Today I'm sharing with you some quick cards I made using the MY Favourite Things Dienamic cover plate dies and Mama Elephant Happy Birthday Dies.

All four cards took a total of and hour and a half to make so they are quick effective cards
that you can make in an emergency.

I used plain coloured card stock and
used  'stick it' for the die cut happy birthday die

This card used Triangle Screen

This one uses Four Way Chevron Cover Plate

This one uses Stripes Cover Plate

This one uses the Chevron Cover plate

These cover plates are quite fun to use and I now to to buy some of the other ones.
There's some other fun techniques you can do with these
which I'll be trying out in the future

Have fun playing

Hello All,

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for a friend at work who recently moved.

I saw this card on pinterest by The Daily Marker using Purple Onion Designs Stamps
So I immediately bought the stamps as I could see so many uses for it.

This card is inspired by The Daily Marker

Kathy has lots of awesome cards at her blog The Daily Marker,
